כחלק מהסיוע שמעניק האיגוד לחבריו, פעל האיגוד בחודשים האחרונים עבור שניים מחבריו לגביית חובות מחברת טקטולק Tech Talk Media, LLC)) מיסודם או בהנהלתם או במעורבותם של מר יונתן קפלן (Jonathan Caplan ) ורונלד האנס (Ronald R. Hans ). חובות שמסתכמים בסכומים משמעותיים.
למרות פניות חוזרות ונשנות, כמו גם הבטחות חוזרות, העורכים לא קיבלו את המגיע להם.
בנוסף לשני המקרים בהם האיגוד היה מעורב בניסיון לגבות תמורה מחברה זו, ידועים לנו על שלושה מקרים נוספים בארץ בהם היה קושי רב ולאורך זמן לקבל תשלום מחברת TECH TALK ושלאחרונה נחסם עורך נוסף שהגיש תביעה נגד החברה, מלברר אותה בישראל, בגלל שקיים בהסכמים הסטנדרטיים של החברה סעיף לפיו התביעות נגדה יוכלו להתברר בניו יורק.

As part of the assistance provided by the Association to its members, the Association has worked in recent months on behalf of two of its members to collect debts from Tech Talk Media, LLC, founded by or under the management or involvement of Mr. Jonathan Caplan and Ronald R. Hans.
Debts that amount to significant amounts.
Despite repeated requests, as well as repeated promises, the editors did not get what they deserved. In addition to the two cases in which the association was involved in an attempt to collect compensation from this company, we are aware of three other cases in Israel in which it was very difficult and over time to receive payment from Tech Talk, and that another editor who filed a lawsuit against the company was recently blocked from inquiring about it in Israel, because there is a clause in the company's standard agreements according to which the claims against it can be clarified in New York.
