Hi! My name is Oriel - I’m a filmmaker, photographer, a creative producer and a daydreamer. My work has been published on The Guardian, Pitchfork, TIME, Nowness, Nylon, Billboard and The Washington Post.
Over the last decade I have been working professionally in New York City and beyond - writing, producing, filming and editing original content for well-established companies, brands and publications. I became the first resident filmmaker of the world-renowned dance company Pilobolus and I'm currently in post-production for my feature-length documentary about the life and career of the trans performer and activist Miss Peppermint (Rupaul's Drag Race, "Head Over Heels" on Broadway).
I am the founder of The Llama Studio, a creative agency based in NYC and TLV that specializes in creating visual stories.
